After consistently following a 21-day miracle morning routine, I experienced a profound transformation! This miracle morning routine is called SAVERS, an acronym derived from the book, “The Miracle Morning.” Each letter stands for a component of the routine, totaling to six practices.
1. Silence
Start Your 21-Day Miracle Morning Routine with silence. Embracing silence through practices such as meditation, prayer, contemplation, deep breathing, and gratitude is vital. My personal favorite is meditation, which I embarked upon by listening to guided audio tracks, you can easily find it on Youtube. Keep in mind, initially, maintaining concentration might be challenging, but rather than harboring negative emotions, gently bring your attention back to your breath. Allow thoughts to flow in and out without resistance.
2. Affirmations
I consider this step to be the crux of the entire miracle morning routine. Affirmations involve repeating positive statements to yourself such as “I am exceptional.” It might sound peculiar at first—I certainly felt so—but repeating these affirmations daily can alter your subconscious, thereby reshaping your behaviors and mindset.
I started off by following an affirmation video on YouTube called “I AM”. As far as I remembered clearly, when I read that “I AM” for the first time, I started to cry while reading it, and I can’t tell what kind of feeling it was, as if I had never been so sure of myself. Then I saw the comments and I realized I wasn’t the only one.There was another comment that impressed me so much.
She said, These change your life but not because they are magic, but because you are magic and you only just realize that. I really love this sentence.
Remember, affirmations are not magic; they are powerful because you are.
3. Visualization
If you’re familiar with the law of attraction, this won’t be new to you. In fact, this word also appeared in an article published by Eileen Feng Gu in the New York Times. She mentioned that whenever she tried a new technique, she would close eyes and rehearse the whole movement process, including many details of body movements, as well as some very subtle feelings of her in the whole process. So, spend about five minutes visualizing your upcoming day, focusing on your tasks and goals. This visualization practice helps build motivation of your miracle morning routine and can also be extended to envision larger, long-term goals.
4. Exercise

The merits of reading are countless, and it’s a habit emphasized by numerous successful individuals. If you’re uncertain where to start, begin with books that pique your interest. The key is to develop the reading habit, dedicating at least 20 minutes daily.
6. Scribing
Writing compels you to engage in deep thinking, especially now that we spend most of our time passively absorbing a lot of knowledge, we need such time for independent thinking.. Keeping a journal of events, expressions of gratitude, dreams, etc., encourages this process. Personally, I like to jot down my thoughts and reflections based on what I read that day. Write something down, write whatever you want. In fact, this is also to accumulate some inspiration for my content creation.

Admittedly, waking up early can be tough, and sticking to this routine may seem daunting. However, I’ve discovered a valuable tool that aids in maintaining this habit—a mobile phone app named Alarmy. This ingenious app requires completing tasks to turn off the alarm, ensuring you start your day actively. I’ve linked this app to my habit of daily weighing, setting a task to photograph the bathroom scale to turn off the alarm. Consequently, every morning begins with me recording my weight. The idea here is to tie new habits to established ones, a concept called habit domino drawn from the book “The Power of Habit.”
Of course, you can draw inferences. For example, if you want to develop the habit of only drinking a large glass of water when you wake up, then you can take a picture of the kettle in the kitchen, etc., In addition, I will set the ringtone as his morning park. In fact, it is the sound of some birds, so that every morning, there is a feeling as if nature wakes you up.
